AGIOS NIKOLAOS
Aghios Nikolaos is an enchanting fishing village,
lying three kilometres south of Stoupa, and life here
reflects the slow pace which once prevailed all over
Greece. You will see fishermen returning with their
daily catch before retiring to one of the kafenions.
The hub of village life is centred around the harbour
area, with a good selection of cafe bars and tavernas,
serving mezes, local dishes, and of course fresh fish.
There are also two mini-markets, a butcher and post
office for money exchange, but no ATM.
SELENITSA VILLAS
These houses have been traditionally built in local
stone with great care and attention to detail. They
are located in private gardens, which abound with fruit
trees and colourful flowers.
A five minute stroll (300
metres) will take you to the village centre, with its
picturesque harbour and selection of tavernas. The nearest
beach, (Pantazi), is a further twenty minutes through
the village, however for the more dedicated swimmers,
there is a purpose built platform, with direct access
to the sea, a few minutes walk from the villas.
There
is a good bus service to Stoupa and Kardimili, and
for the more energetic, an hours walk along a scenic
coastal path, will take you to Stoupa. A car
is recommended should you wish to explore this beautiful
part of Greece, and we offer a 20% reduction on our
listed prices, for pre-booked cars.
Gardenia & Grevilea - one bedroom semi detached
villas
2-4 persons – air conditioned
Each villa is similar in design, on the ground floor
there is a sitting room, with a sofa, which converts
to two single beds, an open plan kitchenette with full
cooker, fridge, toaster and kettle. Off this is room
is a cloakroom. From the sitting room there are french
doors leading to a private, furnished veranda overlooking
the gardens. The upper floor has a double bedroom and
bathroom with shower, access from the bedroom to a
balcony, with sea views from Grevilea and garden views
from Gardenia.
Azalea – two bedroom villa
4 persons + child – air conditioned
Similar to the one bedroom villa, but with a fold
up bed in the sitting room for one child. The upper
floor consists of a twin and double bedroom with access
from both these rooms to a spacious balcony with sea
views. A well maintained property, close to
the amenities, which will suit those seeking a relaxing
break.
