The villas are located on the lower slopes just above Stoupa and boast superb views of the coastline and the sea. There is a good restaurant on the premises and unlike the cheerful hustle and bustle in the local tavernas, its wonderful serene setting compels you to linger over a well presented meal. Delicious breads freshly baked in the restaurant ovens and a variety of dishes prepared with vegetables and herbs picked from their own gardens are on offer.

The extensive terrace area where you dine has been imaginatively constructed using traditional Maniot architecture and affords wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. Refreshing drinks and snacks are available throughout the day from the restaurant next to the swimming pools, but the evening meal is a-la-carte.

The villas are located a three minute stroll up the lane from the restaurant and the swimming pools. Each villa is different in style and layout, marble floors, comfortable furnishings, spacious balconies with extensive views out to sea. Although varying in style and decor, the ones we feature are on two levels and they all provide independence and privacy. The two bedroom independent villa consists of a spacious sitting/dining room with an open plan kitchenette on the ground floor, a hallway leads to a bathroom with shower and the twin bedroom, both the sitting room and the bedroom have direct access to the front sea facing balcony. The second twin bedroom and another bathroom with shower are at first floor level. Balconies provide excellent views over the valley and out to sea.

The one bedroom semi-detached villas offer similar privacy, and the views are equally spectacular. The downstairs sitting room in each is provided with a double sofa bed suitable for one adult or two children. The first floor twin bedroom (a beds with two mattresses but fixed together) opens on to a sea facing balcony and there is also a bathroom with shower.

The restaurant is open for buffet breakfast (approximately £5.00), light lunches and a-la-carte evening meals. The villas are located on the slopes of the olive covered hillside on the way to the village of Neochori. A car is recommended and included in the price. Your own transport will give you the freedom to enjoy the magnificent beaches of Stoupa three kilometres away or explore the historic Mani region with its remote villages where rural Greek life has changed little in decades. The owner has a vast area where he has constructed approximately seventeen villas, all spread out here and there, and we feature the front three with perhaps the best views.
