THE PELOPONNESE region is not only the most scenic and interesting in the whole of Greece, it is profusely rich in history and the only way to explore and enjoy its riches is by hiring your own transport and following a prepared route plan. We have put together an interesting itinerary, taking in some of the well known sites and some of the lesser known gems. You may spend a week exploring followed by, if you so wish, a few days of relaxation at the delightful seaside resort of Stoupa.
During your journey you will discover a range of fascinating archeological wonders where history and mythology blend and come alive. Olympia, Epidavros, Nafplion and Mycenae are a few of the famous historical sites but a host of other not so well known places will impress you equally.

EPIRUS: Your starting point will be Preveza on the mainland just opposite Lefkas. During the week you will visit Parga, Ioannina, Zagoria villages, Arta and the many well known historical Sites. The route also covers remote mountain villages and the journey throughout is the most scenic that you will find any where in Greece. If you wish, during this trip you can also take in Paxos for a day. A really interesting alternative to the first option. At the end of your week’s fly drive you can spend a few days relaxing in Lefkas.

Your journey will start immediately upon arrival in Greece. You will take delivery of your car and be handed a map with your intended route highlighted. You will be also handed information sheet about your journey and the sites and opening times, and also information on the hotels pre-booked for you.
The period between July to mid September is hot and not ideal for lengthy car journeys, and even though an air-conditioned car is provided, the holidays are restricted to the following periods. Departures: any Sunday in May, June and September onwards.
