Phillipa and Takis own a travel agency and a car rental business in Lefkas town and they also manage our programme in Lefkas. This impressive property in the resort of Ligia is owned by their family. Houses on the edge of the sea are rare and with the added benefit of a swimming pool, they are almost unknown. A superb location right on the sea should be enticing enough but combined with a well appointed interior, you have the perfect ingredients for a memorable holiday. Even though the house is split into two separate units with independent entrances, it will be only offered to one party, and when there are six or less persons in a party, the other unit will remain locked and unoccupied, thus the swimming pool and the house will be private.

The apartment (Sofia) occupying the lower two floors has a sitting room with an open plan fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor and an internal staircase to the first floor bedrooms, one twin and one double, and a bathroom with a shower. There is also a cloakroom off the ground floor sitting room. Spacious double balcony providing sweeping views all along the coast and out to sea, is accessible from both the bedrooms, and from the sitting room, there is direct access to a garden to the front overlooking the sea opposite.

The top apartment (Nikolas) occupies the third and fourth floor of this house. The third floor has a good size sitting/dining room with direct access to a large sea facing balcony, and an open plan well appointed kitchen at one end. There is also a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower at this level. The two other bedrooms, one twin and one double are at the top level which are provided within the spacious loft area of the building. There is also a bathroom with a shower at this level. The design and decor is as attractive as the location of the house, modern furnishings have been carefully chosen to provide style and comfort which is further enhanced by the provision of air-conditioning in every room and a washing machine in each apartment.

Although the coastline at the front is stony, you can swim right opposite or off various points all along this coast and you will not have to walk far to discover a deserted small pebble and shingle beach. Some of you will however prefer to relax around the swimming pool alongside, which is for the exclusive use of our guests. Clients staying in the top unit have access to the pool area via a lane at the rear. A barbecue is provided next to the swimming pool.

A five minutes walk along the coastal path will bring you to a working fishing harbour and on its fringes there are three to four tavernas, one renowned for fish. A three minute walk along a path brings you to the main road where there are a few more tavernas and two to three minimarkets. This area is still relatively non commercialised and yet both Lefkas town approximately five kilometres to the north and the resorts to the south are easily accessible by regular public bus service. Such properties are a rare find and we will be surprised if you are not impressed by the quality and comfort it offers.
