Kaminakia consists of a total of twelve units of accommodation in two rows and the pictures provide a clearer indication of their general layout. The lower row of accommodation consists of five two room units and the higher of five studios and two units the same type as the lower row. A nice feature is that there is nothing above or below you and each unit has a separate entrance and a large private balcony with stunning views out to sea and the island of Ithaca in the distance. It is peacefully located in a green area approximately 700 metres from the main harbour and you may swim from the rocks below or from one of the many bays along the coastline. The one about a ten minute walk from the accommodation is a beautiful bay where the shimmering waters change colour from pale green to dark blue depending upon the time of the day. The coastal road is quiet and the access up to the property is along a short steep path/drive off this road. There is a small car park below the swimming pool area.

The accommodation is built in traditional Greek style, with raised platform beds, rough cast walls and high wooden ceilings. The simple studios are compact and consist of a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a kitchenette tucked away in an alcove near the rear entrance. French doors lead to large private balcony with sea views. The two room simple units consist of a double bedroom and the second room has a kitchenette along the back wall and three full size single beds on fixed bases. You will usually dine on the terrace but if it is too hot you have another dining table and chairs near the kitchen area. As with the studios there is a bathroom with shower. This accommodation will ideally suit a family with two or three children. It should be noted that the beds in all the rooms have fixed bases and the single beds in
the second room are not alongside each other.

The swimming pool attached to the property is large with extensive terraces all around. As with the accommodation you have magnificent sea views from the terraces. The owner and his family speak very good English and we are certain they will extend a warm welcome to all our guests.
