Located
almost in the centre of the plains of Avithos, this quality
accommodation is virtually self contained, for those
wishing to
just relax, and unwind, and enjoy the in-house facilities
on offer.
The only reason for leaving it would be to take a leisurely
walk
to one of several tavernas for an evening meal and unless
you
wish to venture far, a car is not necessary.
Two of the four sandy beaches are accessible on foot,
the main beach is a
fifteen minutes walk (1.3Kms) and has a very good taverna
for drinks
and dining throughout the day. There are other tavernas
within a fifteen
minute walk, and five to six of these are located in
Svoronata village
about a kilometre away, where there are also a couple
of mini-markets.
There is also a pool side bar and restaurant which is
open from ten in
the morning to late afternoon, and serves excellent lunches
at a
reasonable price. The second bar is open from eight in
the evening and
ample comfortable seating is provided inside and in the
open area beside
the pool.
The accommodation is well appointed and within the fourteen
small
blocks there is a mix of studios, one room maisonettes,
and one
bedroom apartments, so the accommodation is ideally suited
to couples
and families. The bed arrangements are also a mix of
twins and doubles,
and some have a bath (shower attachment) and others shower
only, so
the type required must be requested at the time of booking
and
although no guarantees can be given, we will do our best
to
accommodate you. All have an outside terrace or a balcony,
some larger
than others.
