Perched high above the sea, and offering uninterrupted views,
this villa has to be in one of the most perfect and tranquil
locations on Lefkas. To the right, views extend over the beach of
Aghios Ioannis and beyond to Lefkas town.
Tsoukalades lies on the northwest of the island, between Lefkas
town and Aghios Nikitas. The coastal road runs above the original
village, and along this small stretch of road you will find six
tavernas and a well stocked mini-market. Villa Stamata is located
1.5 kilometres down from here. As you turn off this road and pass
through old Tsoukalades, carefully navigating the narrow,
meandering lanes, you will be rewarded with views of the most
stunning quality. The entire landscape suddenly changes as you
appear high above the sea, with the shimmering waters of the Ionian
stretching as far as the eye can see.
A few hundred metres along this lane will bring you to the
Villas Stamata. The owner has two identical houses of the same
name, located one hundred metres apart, and we have selected the
slightly higher placed one, which has complete privacy. The lane
ends at the entrance to the property, so is only used for access to
these two villas.

experience spectacular sunsets, and as night draws in, the
twinkling lights of distant passing ships, make this the most
magical of locations.
The location alone is superb, but add to it a beautiful villa
with spacious gardens and a good size pool, then paradise is almost
found. The infinity pool to the front extends to the edge of the
land, and as the name suggests, it has the visual effect of
disappearing into the sea and horizon beyond.
The villa has been built to a high specification, and is fully
equipped with modern facilities. The ground floor has a
sitting/dining area which is open plan to a well equipped kitchen
with a full cooker fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
On this floor there is also a bathroom with shower. From here there
is access via French windows to a large covered terrace, where you
can enjoy outside dining. Steps down from here lead to the pool,
with sun loungers and parasols. There are gardens to both sides of
the villa and a brick built barbecue for al fresco dining. The
bedrooms, one twin and one double, are on the first floor, with
access via French doors to the spacious sea-facing balcony. On this
floor is the second bathroom with bath and shower attachment.
