Russa Villas

Situated approximately 1500 metres inland (uphill) from Trapezaki beach, they are surrounded by olive groves and a small vineyard to one side, from which Andreas and Russa, the owners, make their own wine. The four villas are virtually identical,* each consisting of a sitting/dining room with an open plan kitchenette, a twin or double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Each enjoys a spacious verandah which can be accessed from both the sitting room and the bedroom. All are air conditioned and comfortably equipped with modern furnishings, a sofa bed in the sitting room is suitable for either a third adult or two children. There is a communal barbecue at the rear.

* Villa no.1 has a larger pool and is offered at a small supplement.

A blissfully peaceful location in Trapezaki yet within a seven minutes stroll of the nearest taverna. For a wider selection, four or five tavernas are on the upper slopes behind Lourdas beach and are just under a mile from your accommodation, it will take approximately twenty minutes to walk and because the lanes are not adequately lit, a torch is strongly recommended. However, if you do not feel energetic, a car is included in the price for the duration of the holiday. This will give you the opportunity to explore the numerous Kefalonia beaches and also visit some sites of historical interest in Kefalonia such as the Venetian Castle of St George, the Monastery of St Andreas and the Mycean Tomb at Mazarakata, all within a thirty minute drive. The whole area has an unhurried feel about it and is a wonderful location for a restful break.
