Clients booking accommodation only must make their own travel arrangements from their arrival point in Greece. You should aim to arrive at our representative agents office (address on the face of the information booklet) during office hours, generally between 08.30-13.00 & 17.00-21.00. They will direct you to the accommodation. You must inform us about the expected arrival time at least a week in advance.

Transfers unless requested are not included for flight and/or accommodation only clients.

During summer 2005, most transfers were by hydrofoil from Corfu to Gaios in Paxos. From here the transfer to your accommodation in Lakka is by road, a journey of approximately 15 minutes. There were two ferries per day in each direction but our usual mode of transfer is a hydrofoil that operates more frequently, approximately five in each direction. Those booking flights independently should ensure that they arrive in Corfu no later than 16.00 to comfortably catch the last hydrofoil to Paxos. Final information on schedules for summer 2008 should be available by April 2008.

HYDROFOIL TIMES IN 2008
Corfu-Paxos: 08.30, 13.30, 14.30, 16.15, 18.00

A SEA PLANE service has now started and operates twice per day, early morning and late afternoon. The Journey time is approximately 15 minutes and cost approximately £30 each way. The plane has limited capacity so it has to be booked well in advance.

At the Airport

airport

CHECKING IN
You must check-in at your UK departure airport or the overseas departure airport at least 2hrs (also refer to itinerary enclosed with your tickets) before take off time. Security checks take time and the airlines insist that if passengers arrive late they may be refused permission to board the aircraft. If this happens we will make every effort to assist clients with alternative travel but all costs incurred will be the responsibility of the client and paid in advance of travel. All flights are non smoking.

AIRPORT SECURITY
You must by now be aware of the security checks at the airports and the restrictions that apply to your cabin luggage. We expect these measures to apply for some time to come and the latest rules will be posted on our web site prior to the beginning of the season in May 2007.
Cabin Baggage
One item of hand baggage per person. Maximum weight of any hand baggage must not exceed 5KG or total dimensions of 45cm x 35cm x 16cm. This allowance cannot be combined with your hold baggage allowance. Baggage allowances may be subject to change at any time.

All Creatures Great & Small

ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL
In warm climates, particularly during the hot summer months vermin may present a problem. We have taken an active role in supporting action to deal with this ever increasing problem but it will take time to eradicate it completely. So we must warn you that if you choose accommodation in rural areas, you may occasionally see vermin of all sorts and the sad fact is that they are attracted to cooler places and where there is food.

Vermin are prevalent, even in some of the busier resorts. In all instances please inform your representative and short of cleaning the whole countryside they will take whatever action that is within their means.

Some of the properties are described as peaceful, however, there are certain elements outside our control which can effect your peace. So be warned, animals can at times be as annoying as noisy neighbours - especially donkeys!
