Apartments & Room
Allocation
Where there is more than one unit of accommodation, we cannot
confirm a specific room or an apartment within the complex, these
are usually on a first come first served basis. Booking early may
help but we can never give guarantees.
Accommodation Description
Accommodation featured in this brochure has been personally
chosen by members of our staff and descriptions are based on the
information available at the time the brochure went to print. We
have no control over any development work in resort, however, if we
learn of any such work close to the accommodation we feature which
is likely to effect the enjoyment of your holiday, then we will do
our best to inform you if there is time before your departure.
Similarly, it is possible that some facilities within a complex
may become temporarily or permanently unavailable. Pools have to be
cleaned and maintenance has to be carried out, once again, we will
inform you of any significant changes if there is time before your
departure.
Apartments & hotels are clearly described and although the
price panel headings may state the name of the property only, the
price shown is for the occupancy of each unit of accommodation i.e.
a single apartment unit in a complex or a room in a
hotel/residential etc. Please take note of these general comments
about properties. With some properties there may not be umbrellas
or balcony furniture and the same plastic chairs are for use inside
and outside the accommodation, showers do not always have shower
trays or shower curtains.
Plumbing systems in Greece are much simpler than our own and
waste disposal pipes are narrower. Paper or other objects should
not be flushed but disposed in the bins provided. Changes
continually take place to areas around the property without our
knowledge. Some properties such as studios and apartments in a
property are only described once and small dissimilarities such as
"one with a larger kitchen than another" are not necessarily
stated. Only major differences are highlighted. It is not possible
to allocate units specifically. Most sofa beds are only suitable
for smaller children.
Satellite televisions usually transmit only one English speaking
news channel.
When a property is described as peacefully located, it generally
implies that you should not experience noise or disturbance at
night from a bar or restaurant nearby. However, especially during
the peak season, these establishment will play music and unless you
are in a remote location, the volume or the choice of music may be
irritating for some clients.
Included in our rentals: Cost of gas, water and electricity,
laundry and cleaning of properties, all local taxes and service of
our representative.
Views
and Resort Information
When we describe a property as having a sea view, this means
that you have a view of the sea either from a balcony, a terrace or
from the window of the room. In some instances this could be a side
view and in others partially obstructed by trees. When an
accommodation is described as 'sea facing' it does not follow that
it has view of the sea.
The resort information is given as a guide and we believe was
correct at the time of writing, facilities in each resort may
change and are seasonal.
Subletting
The accommodation provided is only for the use of passengers
listed on the invoice and any subletting or sharing of
accommodation is strictly prohibited.
Vacating Your
Accommodation
Wherever possible and with the owners permission we will allow
you to stay in your accommodation until it is time to leave for the
airport. Generally you will be required to vacate your
accommodation by midday and in some instances as early as 10.00
hrs.
WATER & SOLAR
HEATING
In most properties solar heating is the only method of heating
the water which means that when there is no sun there is no hot
water. Also in some properties the kitchens are plumbed for hot
water but not connected to the services. We regret the
inconvenience of carrying hot water from the bathroom for your
washing up.
ELECTRICITY
220 volts AC. It is safe to use your appliances. However, carry
a continental adaptor as most sockets take two-pin plugs.
Air Conditioning
When a property is air-conditioned, it does not necessarily have
this facility in every room. Studios and one bedroom units
generally have one unit and larger properties two to three units.
Please call if you require specific information.
Kitchenettes
A kitchenette will usually consist of one or two cooking rings
that are gas or electric, a fridge, a sink
unit and utensils sufficient for light catering. It
is not possible to cook main meals in accommodation provided with a
kitchenette. Larger properties such as villas usually have better
equipped kitchens enabling you to self cater more extensively,
however, do not expect the same equipment or facilities as you have
at home.
Breakages
If any services within the property breakdown during your stay,
please inform our representative offices immediately. The owners
will be told to carry out any necessary repairs as soon as
possible. However, in some instances it may take time to rectify a
problem and the company cannot entertain claims for compensation
when this occurs.
Left Luggage
When you are required to vacate your property long before your
departure time home, we will endeavour wherever possible to provide
storage for your luggage. However, any baggage that is left in
storage or in our representatives care is done so at the owners
risk.
