Car Hire

Hiring a car will give you the opportunity to enjoy real Greece, and further enhance your holiday. Discovering remote villages and deserted beaches is an enjoyable experience and one only obtained by the freedom of having your own transport. We have obtained keen rates from local companies and therefore you are safe in the knowledge that you have the support and the backup of our resort agents and the representative.

PRICES INCLUDE:

Unlimited mileage.
Insurance against fire and theft and third party cover.
Collision damage waiver on Kefalonia and Lefkas (subject to an excess of 300 Euros) can be covered by paying an extra 7 Euros per day at the time of collection to reduce the excess to 50 euros.
No charges applicable to Stoupa.
Maintenance and replacement in case of breakdown.
Local Taxes.
Delivery and collection to/from your accommodation, (see below for Assos and Fiscardo on Kefalonia).

PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE:

Personal accident cover is not included and may be arranged at the time of taking delivery of the car. (Your personal holiday insurance should give cover, please check with your broker).
Petrol.
Damage to tyres. (Not part of insurance cover).
Any parking or other fines.
Delivery on Kefalonia, Assos and Fiskardo add £25.

GENERAL NOTES:

Cars are normally delivered to your accommodation or collected in resort within four hours of your arrival. When you arrive on a night flight and the car is requested for the full duration of your holiday, it will be delivered on the first morning but may be collected late in the evening on the last day of your holiday.
Where a car is included with the property, this will be collected and returned to the airport, except in Stoupa where the car is delivered to the property.
You should ensure that you have a valid UK full driving licence which has been held for at least one year.
The suppliers reserve the right to substitute a higher group car if none is available in the group requested. The minimum age for drivers is 21 years.
On taking delivery of the car, the driver(s) will be asked to sign the suppliers agreement which will state all the terms and conditions of hire and it should be read thoroughly.
We do not issue a separate car hire voucher and your invoice is sufficient proof of booking and must be shown to the supplier at the time of taking delivery of your car. They have prior knowledge of your requirements.

• Generally we cannot accept bookings within a week of departure.

Car Collection at airport: roof racks are not available and if you are carrying large cases, you may need to hire a taxi to accompany you to your destination. The boot space in group B cars is only adequate for three average suitcase and group C, 4 suitcases.
When parties with young children have hired a car as part of the package, infant and child seats will be automatically added at no additional charge.

PRICES

Prices shown are for weekly rental with daily rate in brackets alongside. Daily rate is for a minimum of three days. When rentals fall in different periods, an average cost will apply.

The car rental companies reserve the right to substitute the car types shown for each group by another similar car or by one from a higher group, subject to availability. We are unable to request a specific car in a group. Car discounts only apply when booked in the UK.
